Every competitive game eventually develops certain strategies that the community universally despises playing against.
Understanding how these annoying strategies function is the first step toward completely dismantling them.
The Unbreakable Wall
Perhaps the most hated strategy in the entire genre is the hyper-defensive spell-cycle deck.
If you allow them to sit at ten mana, you have already lost; you must force them to spend their resources on defense constantly.
- Drop everything at the bridge.
- It is an endurance test.
- Turn it into a spell-casting race if your deck allows it.
Endless Pressure
On the opposite end of the spectrum is the player who drops fast, punishing units directly at the bridge the entire game.
If you know they have a Bandit in hand, hover your cheap skeletons in the middle of the map in anticipation.

They want you to get angry, spam emotes, and abandon your carefully planned strategy in a fit of rage.
Take a deep breath, mute their emotes immediately at the start of the match, and focus entirely on the geometry of the arena.
